Appeals

The Appeals Service is now closed.

We've now issued outcomes of priority appeals to schools, colleges and training providers. You should contact your school, college or training provider to find out your outcome.

In September, we'll confirm the date that we'll issue the outcomes of all other appeals.

If your grade has changed as a result of an appeal, we'll send you a new certificate in November.

Appeals decisions are final and you cannot appeal your grade again.

How did the Appeals Service work?

A senior marker carried out a marking review of your Qualifications Scotland-marked assessments. They reviewed your responses to all externally-marked question papers and assignments. They checked that the marks awarded by the original marker were in line with national standards.
